Happy Wednesday peeps! Today’s look is all about one of my favorite lip colors and my absolute favorite liquid lip formula right now! I have been overly obsessed with the NARS Powermatte Lip Pigments and the shade London Calling has me feeling like I want to speak with an English accent all day! I wear this during the day or the evening. This shade is beautiful and the formula is AMAAAZING. I have tried SO many liquid lipsticks and while I have noticed an improvement in many formulas, at this point in my opinion, nothing beats the NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment. See the low down on the products I used to create this look with London Calling being the feature of it 🙂
NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment in shade London Calling ($26): The Sephora website describes this is as a lilac pink but I’d say this is more of a lilac brown color. This color would look beautiful on all skin shades and could easily be the feature of your look. While it’s more of a bold lip color, it’s not so dark that you can’t wear it during the day. I wear this to work many times in the week! There are definitely a good number of lip shades in the Powermatte line but I honestly hope and pray for even more!! Whenever I do a bold lip color, I love to keep my eye make-up simple with a little liner and mascara.
Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion ($22): This is easily a staple in my eye make-up routine. This primer keeps eye shadow and eyeliner in place for hours at a time. I primed my lids with this before moving on to the eyeliner.
Maybelline Curvitude Liquid Liner in Black ($5.59): This is now becoming one of my favorite go to liquid liners because of the curved tip to make that easy wing. I like to line the top of my eyelids with this one, but for the lower lash line, I always use a black eyeshadow.
Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Corrupt ($6.00): The Corrupt eyeshadow is another absolute staple in my eye makeup routine. For my lower lash line, I take a MAC #263 Small Angle Brush and first either dip it in a bit of water or spray it with one of my setting sprays. Then I dip it in Corrupt and carefully line the bottom lash line. You always get a nice smoked out line and you can get as smokey as you want depending on how heavy you go with the brush. Using eyeshadow as a lower liner also stays on way longer than if you were to use a liquid liner! I’ve linked the brush here for you also: MAC #263 Small Angle Brush ($20).
Top off the high points of your cheeks, your nose and your cupid’s bow with your favorite highlighter and you’ve got a classic look that’ll go with any color you’re wearing for day or night! As you can see by the sunlight, I chose this as a daytime look 🙂 Hope you all try it out and love it!
Stay Vibrant! XoXo,
